Theodore watched her carefully, fingers curling slightly into his palm. He was starting to suspect that she understood better what he was saying than she might be letting on, but that was - from his perspective, at least - actually a good thing.
He gave her a faint smile. "No," he said. "I'm not meant to be anything but a Healer. I want to continue helping you, I do. I'm just concerned that by healing your father, I might be putting all of you in danger." He meant her, her father, and the child she was carrying, as well as the father of her child. Under other circumstances, he would have offered to be her Healer as well. "I don't know how much danger, or how soon it might be a problem. The last thing I want to do is leave you in the lurch, without any alternative plans."
