Theodore watched her, prepared for anything - sadness, anger, confusion, utter breakdown. It didn't come, though. Well, the confusion did, and he thought that she might be feeling a bit ill. He understood that, he definitely did.
"I know," he said tiredly, rubbing his eyes. "It made no sense to me either, when I first read it. And it would make even less sense to you, if--" he paused, shook his head, and kept his voice low. "I think Zach was under the potion. He came off it really hard." He was sure it wouldn't be any easier if Tracey was under it, if she was going to have to deal with any buried negative emotions. But he didn't know that for sure that she was affected yet, didn't want to make her unnecessarily paranoid. "I saw it happen. I'm fairly sure it's true."
