The witch was carrying less than she usually did when she went riding, but as a solitary activity it was a bit different than going on a date. Not knowing the stables he had been to, Felixa didn't know what sort of environment they would be riding in, but she had always been fond of forests, for riding and- Lili stopped herself. It was a first date after all, and Marek did not need to know the way he was practically flirting with certain elements of her nature, personality.
"Thank you," Felixa replied, "I see you have dressed appropriately as well." It was a compliment, and he hadn't been able to see that she had checked it out before answering the door. There were some advantages with him picking her up.
Her eyes lit up a little at the gift, even though he had mentioned giving it to her on this date. She had even worn the sheath he had sent her. But the knife was graceful, elegant, and ... beautiful. It was almost breathtaking. "Thank you," Felixa spoke slowly, picking the knife up and finding the grip comfortable for her hand. "Given our plans, I doubt it would hurt us," Lili pointed out, "But I will treat her very well."
