Zach hadn't really addressed the issue Theo was dealing with by seeing his father's portrait, his father's sleeping portrait. At least it wasn't dead. Zach gave Aunt Adele a smile. He talked with her as much as he could. Her portrait was over here, and Zach didn't know of one being in his home. If it was somewhere, it was somewhere private he didn't know about. That was a shame.
"That depends," Zach replied, "It could but you said others might search for it. And if they killed him, it wouldn't be impossible to get your blood. So probably, you know, only open it. But I can check if you'd like..." Zach found a very bad taste come in his mouth at the implication of anything happening to Theo. Zach knew he probably was no help in any such situation, but he would do whatever he could, if ... whatever.
Anyway, Zach was looking at Theo to see what he wanted to do.
