Theodore listened politely, though he wasn't taking much from any of that. He was not terribly good with arbitrary ideas, preferred logic and fact to vague hints at an answer. Or perhaps they would have seemed less like vague hints if he had been better suited to comprehending the meaning behind them. Change coming with death was easy enough to figure out, and the last card probably meant that he would move forward with his life and whatever was to come despite the change, but that was as far as his understanding went. "What does that all mean?" he asked, when she'd been quiet for a moment. "I'm not very good at this sort of... interpretation."
