Emmeline smiled, accepting the compliments with a degree of modesty. She had plenty of confidence in her looks, that wasn't why she was single right now. Aside from the logistical problem of being dead to most of the world, her heart had never entirely mended after losing Jack.
"Oh, now," she said, running her fingers over the rose. "Don't let me get in the way of your fun, love. I might be older than you, but I'm not your mother." She hadn't had roommates since Beauxbatons, but people could have their fun while still living with others. If it was a real problem, surely they could work something out.
