Emmeline's day had been rather average, and somewhat monotonous. That was alright. She did get restless sometimes, but other times she rather liked the routine, was grateful for the fact that no one she knew had died today. Monotony was better than tragedy.
She looked up when Kingsley entered the flat, a smile appearing on her face in amusement at the way he greeted her. "Welcome home, handsome," she said. "You're in a good mood."
