There wasn't much Theo could do these days to really frighten Tracey. Or at least, to frighten her in the way she felt threatened by him. She loved him, and trusted him almost explicitly; she knew he'd never hurt her. If she was at all frightened, it was more for him. She was worried, so worried about him.
When they say on the sofa she shifted close, lacing her fingers with his and leaning into him slightly to give him support. "Why- Why don't you think you remember? Was it because of the shock, or did you black out... or did something happen to alter your memory?" She wasn't sure why she was asking... "You probably don't even know, obviously. I'm sorry for asking..."
