There really wasn't much else to say, so instead Katie just tightened her arms around him, pressing herself close to Charlie and taking comfort from his embrace. She hadn't meant to break down like this, but it had been so hard keeping it all inside, and Charlie was the first person she'd discovered off the potion that she knew and felt she could trust completely.
After a long moment, she took a deep, shuddering breath and murmured, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to- to cry all over you, I just- I'm so tired of having to hold it all in." Finally she tilted her head back enough to look up at him, eyes bright with tears as she asked, "You know what I mean, don't you?"
