Tiberius' words made his eyes close. It made it difficult not to reach out and pull him over to him. "I was quite unaware," he said after a moment. "It was our sisters that bothered to point it out. Apparently we are both being silly about this." Perhaps they were. Now that Tiberius' father was dead, they didn't have to worry about it. It was safe.
Fletcher looked up, making a pointed effort to keep looking. "They have very interesting opinions on our matters," he replied. He reached out for the other man's hand after a moment. It was a quiet need to feel like he was close, like he wasn't going to disappear.
"I know." He focused on Tiberius' face before moving to pull him closer again. It wasn't like they needed to kiss or anything, just...be close. Closeness was important for some reason he wasn't saying out loud or even thinking about. It just was.
