He would have laughed, but it was a circular argument and it wasn't likely to come to pass anyways. He left it alone and only smiled fondly to himself.
He didn't like the frown though. The frown worried him and he shifted, sitting up fully now to focus on Fletcher. He raised an eyebrow as if to say 'Go on,' and waited for Fletcher to continue speaking.
He felt his stomach give a twist and a turn, several times over. Why was he bringing that up now? He had made it more then clear the other night that he had fooled him into believing the same lies he tried to fool his father with. What benefit did Fletcher gain from rehashing that memory?
All the words seemed lost upon him and he looked at Fletcher with a confused look. "Against it? Against my avoidance of the subject?" He asked, for that made no sense. If he wasn't against it then why was it being brought up now? Clearly bringing it up meant he was against it. And it was oh so long ago. He felt his stomach turn once more and seemed to flinch at the mention of the Tiger, of whom he questioned about so often, always playing it off as if he was interested in finding out about Fletcher's romances. When in truth he was interested in knowing if he had lost his chance. His mouth went dry.
Wait, what? How was it different? They didn't have a physical relationship...they didn't have a relationship at all. Not for not wanting of course, but that came into play with how he had managed to fool Fletcher. He felt sick.
