Patience would not have minded if he stuffed himself on muffins. She cooked a lot, far more than she would ever actually eat, and what she didn't eat or give to someone else ended up frozen for another day. She was almost always in the mood to cook, but when she wasn't - sometimes before the full moon, these days - she was grateful for the extra stores of food.
"I dance while I'm cleaning," she said, giving him a slightly conspiratorial smile. "And hum while I'm gardening, occasionally in the shower. I sometimes dance while I'm gardening, too." She laughed. "We could just turn on some music and dance now, if you wanted. I have a wireless."
