It had been a bit of a whim and mildly difficult to pull off. How he had, exactly, Zach couldn't say. But he had managed to buy the flowers, Patience's favorite flowers, from her to be delivered to her. Of course, he had ordered them to arrive at his place, and he sent them over. Or something like that. He wasn't thinking about the details. Zach had actually followed them over, and his owl had been very good at arriving after he had, so that he was able to see her face light up. That made him feel happy. He'd fallen out of touch with so many Hufflepuffs, and they had all been friendly with him, if not his friends.
"Hello!" Zach declared as he came out with a grin on his face. The owl, nonplussed, chose to eat some of the bread. "I don't know if you still want to give him something to take back, but Cedrych will stay so long as you treat him kindly and he doesn't need to get back." The blond came up and pet the owl slightly.
