"Oh, I can give you the list way ahead of time," Theodore said. "I still haven't decided whether I'm striking out completely on my own, or with a partner. I haven't found a location, and I don't have regular clients. This is the easiest part, honestly."
He was smiling, though, not particularly concerned. He had always liked a challenge, liked the newness of it, and yes, the very slight risk to it - made easier to deal with by his confidence in his skills. He'd been prompted by his latest review of his work, which had been almost overwhelmingly positive. It was obviously time to stop doubting himself and try something new.
He took the list from her and looked it over, nodding. "I'd much rather work with a smaller Apothecary if it's possible, honestly," he admitted, a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. "Small businesses have to support each other, right? Or something to that effect."
