"You? Contrary?" Angela let out a fake gasp, "Well, I never would have suspected such a thing!" Although it looked ridiculous seeing as how she was seated, she placed her hands on her hips anyway. For a barest moment, she felt as though she were 16 years old again, even though time travel was impossible without a Time Turner (and oh! How excited her husband had been when she told him about those. He'd spun her around and then taken her into the bedroom and...). She cleared her throat.
"I didn't think you were lying; you're a very bad liar, or at least you used to be," Angela sighed; his words were well meant, she simply didn't feel like she deserved them, "You are too trusting, Gilbert." She finally said in response, "But thank you for the warning. It alters my plans substantially."
When she thought about what she had been about to walk into, not only for herself, but for her child, Angela visibly shuddered.
