Gilbert did not feel it necessary to vocalize the fact that he had rather been concerned over her leaving. One would have imagined that she might have said something, but if she meant to disappear as if she never was there, Angela had done the job credibly. "Of course you have been. I believe everyone is partial to freedom to an extent."
He hummed softly. "That would certainly be something to figure out before then. All the same, I have an owl that you might use to send in your papers."
Gilbert's attention focused for a moment on the journal, smiling at it. "Oh, yes. Very...pretty." He would not actually call unicorns pretty so much as he would call them majestic...but that was neither here nor there.
A small moment passed as he pondered boring subjects. "I would not claim it to be so to all, especially since the subject really does have its fascinating moments, but I do believe that many would disagree with us. Perhaps the Goblin wars or the troll wars, perhaps. Perhaps the migratory patterns of birds or fish."
