Had anyone else been coming, Kingsley would have selected another spot. This cafe was for pairs only. Not everyone who came was of a romantic nature, as some folk had to be introduced to the idea of being comfortable in a setting with men - nerves about coming out, even to other men or whatnot. Of course, it was discrete enough no rumors had ever left about Kingsley, which he only cared about because he was utilizing the place for its discretion.
"Your table is this way, sirs," the owner led the way, making no looks or gestures. They passed tables, but it was rude to look. The conversations were muffled, and any unwarranted behavior simply led to be asked to leave.
"I've never been let down," Kingsley replied to Terrence, following the man easily. Their table was situated so that both of them had a decent side view of the way around, though it was not in view of the front door, but gave none the advantage. Kingsley sat.
"A menu for each of you," the owner motioned to the menus in the middle, "I will come back in five minutes, for your orders." He was very precise about that sort of thing.
Kingsley couldn't help but smile a little but shrugged, "It offers what we need."
