"Hmm." Melinda kept lightening the walls by shades until it was about as light as she could get and still like it. The room was still pretty dark, even with the white carpet. "Skylights are a good thought. And we can color those too if we want to do something weird." She dug in her pocket, coming up with a knut which she tossed a few feet away. Sitting up and concentrating hard, she attempted to transfigure it into a red couch. It was more like a red nearly-couch-sized blob, but close enough to get the idea, and it didn't lighten the room enough.
She rolled her eyes and smiled a little, sitting back against him again. "You know what I mean. And we'll keep working on them until we've got them right and don't have to be careful. I wonder if there's a way to tie it to our emotions, I don't think that can go too wrong."
