Who: Marek and Melinda What: looking for a place of their own, having some twin time When: Sunday afternoon Where: a random empty flat somewhere Warnings: TBA Status: Incomplete
Marek leaned back against Melinda, resting in the comfortable equilibrium they had, sitting back to back. He looked up at the ceiling, at the windows, at the floor around them. It was weird, being in an empty flat, a place that could be turned into a home. He wasn't sure he liked this particular place yet, but he did like the feeling of it, the emptiness, the new beginning.
He wasn't really sure where he and Melinda were at now, except he was confident that they'd get over whatever was still left between them eventually. "So what do you think?" he asked after a moment of silence, twirling a cigarette between his fingers. He wasn't going to smoke, not here, not unless they decided it was going to be their place - the desire wasn't strong enough. For now, he was just keeping his hands busy while he thought, absorbed the place they were sitting in.
