There was a distinct possibility that once Terrence and Ella took an active stance against the Dark Lord by killing a Death Eater, they would have to go on the run, and thus lose their ability to play double agent. Terrence was determined to get as much use out of the Mark on his arm as possible before that happened, if it happened. He wasn't going to be stupid about it, of course, but the idea of actively defying the people who had changed his life irreversibly wasn't an unpleasant one, at all. He was planning for that possibility, since it was bound to come sooner or later, even if it didn't happen now.
First, there was the matter of the Horcruxes. They'd found none in Crouch's office, but that didn't mean he didn't have one, or that one of his fellow high-up Death Eaters didn't. Common sense dictated that most people believed Gringotts to be the safest place to keep something of value, considering the significant measures that stood between thieves and the underground vaults, but Terrence had a card or two up his sleeve. First of all, he knew that goblins responded somewhat to the sight of the Mark on his arm, although he doubted that would be enough to make one of them open someone else's vault for him - especially the vault of someone else who bore the same Mark. Still, it might be useful.
And then there was the member of the Uprising who still worked at the bank, a member of the bank that he'd already gotten to know before they had conspired together. No one had looked twice at him for his adventure with Bill Weasley before, so it was doubtful they'd be bothered about it now, although people were more paranoid. That was why he'd made it look as innocent and similar to the last time as possible, by meeting up at the Leaky - albeit snagging a booth for them this time, rather than staying at the bar - and suggesting that they wear their superhero costumes again. He'd also donned the mohawk wig he'd gotten with Katie, just to finish it all off to his satisfaction.
Grinning, carrying his pint, he waved Bill over to his seat. Subtle, no, but no one would suspect someone in this getup of conspiring to break into Gringotts. He was drawing too much attention to himself and hiding in plain sight. Genius, if he did say so himself.
