Gilbert's eyes widened again and his blush darkened. "I...It never..." He frowned a little focusing once more on the table. "It never seemed important enough," he said quietly. He had too many other things to do at the time.
"It cannot be so uncommon." Surely, he could not be alone in this. People outside of the clergy did this, did they not? Oh, he felt rather foolish now.
