"Yes...Al-" Gilbert glanced down at his now empty glass. "Well, I learned when I was younger from my older siblings." It had been such a long time since they had died, but it never actually seemed that long. "Father had no use for the old boat and so I took it when I moved." He ignored the slight sadness he felt. Surely he should not still feel this, yet he did. It was bothersome at best. "I can hope it will. It seems to be going that way."
"But having them is still useful, even if it does not all go the way you mean to." It was useful. At least...he had insisted on something of a plan. "Yes. I suppose something like that might work as well, it is just that you have to hope everyone else will be able to do the same." He arched an eyebrow at the last comment. "I do not believe I have understood."
"Well, if you do not intend to hit me, then I clearly should never intend to do the same thing. Though, I am sure you were aware of that before I even said as much." He was perhaps a little predictable.
"I do not believe I do that. Do I? I would feel rather upset if I had."
