In the past week, so many things had been on his mind. It seemed as if everything was occuring at once and it was hard for him to register it all. But in the midst of all the chaos that he felt was occuring, his number one priority was Lili. He had been wishing to speak with her for days now but so many things kept coming up that prevented that from occuring. At first it had been his simple fear. He didn't like seeming vulnerable to her, even though he realized she knew how vulnerable he truly was and didn't judge him for such. It didn't change the fact he felt badly on himself when he thought such things. So his fear of seeming weak to his older sister prevented him from seeking her out. Then, as the days crept on, and his desire to run to her for help grew, it was work that prevented him from going to her.
Hestia Jones had not come in for days. He had no idea what was going on with her and he hoped she was alright; but it did create an awful lot of work for him to catch up on. Not him entirely, of course, but he felt as if it was just him. He imagined that others in his department felt that way, as it was hard not too when a work load increases.
He stepped out of his bedroom, wearing pajama pants and a tattered old star wars shirt, shuffling into the kitchen with the smallest smile. "The smell of fresh cocoa always makes me want to watch Willy Wonka," he said quietly, as a conversation starter and to announce his arrival.
