Colin understood that he was trying to help. That was really the most important thing. The song wasn't exactly horrible, but it was a little concerning. He nodded quietly, letting the pillow drop. There was a moment before he moved forward and wrapped his arms around Kevin. He didn't know exactly what had inspired this, nor did he think to ask. He would apologize for that. People had personal bubbles sometimes.
"I'm sorry," he said quietly. "I should have asked...I just..." He just needed a hug from someone even if he didn't know them. "I know we only just met and you don't know me and you probably have a personal bubble and maybe you don't like hugs, but I didn't think you would be very upset. At least, I hoped you wouldn't. I just...Sometimes its easier when you can feel that someone else is there and you're not really as alone as you feel...and I am rambling but I can't even stop." He pressed his mouth against Kevin's shoulder in an effort to stop himself from continuing to speak. After a moment, he pulled back. "Tea would be good."
