"Might be for the best, yeah," Patience acknowledged, with a small smile. "Best I don't know who you are, when people jump to my defense. I don't know your name, and for all I know, you could be disguised right now."
She didn't think he was, though. If he'd bothered with his appearance, he could have hidden those scrapes behind glamours. But she knew enough already, knew enough to get him hurt if he wasn't careful.
"Why did you come to talk to me?" she asked curiously. "You're only putting yourself at risk, you know. There are people - my sister-"
That sounded like she was threatening him. Which she wasn't, honestly. And she'd just been thinking about how she didn't need to know anything more about him, for his own safety. She quickly changed the subject back to their previous conversation.
"Anyway. There are certain potions, every month, that I could help you with. If you wanted."
