"Have you?" Marek asked, slightly surprised. Not that he thought she was the kind of lady that was practically a porcelain doll. There just seemed to be so much about her that he didn't know, much of it unexpected. "I'll admit, I don't often choose to walk. I used to go in the Floo just for fun because I liked it so much."
It occurred to him, vaguely, that he was just offering random bits of information about himself, while she was offering cryptic little tidbits. Maybe he should consider not being quite so honest. It wasn't really his style to hold back, though. He wondered what reasons she had for holding things so close to her chest. He didn't think that she was doing it out of animosity or distrust of him. She probably couldn't even distrust him if she wanted to, considering the Mark on his arm, though he hadn't used that against her.
