"We'll go as soon as I can make an appointment," Lavender said with a chuckle, amused (and pleased) by his obvious excitement. She sort of wanted to hug him again, just because she'd missed him, but he was standing there with his hands in his pockets and she didn't want to push.
"Pizza!" She exclaimed instantly. But then, "Oh, no! Chinese. Oh, I could so go for some Chinese. Please?" Now that she'd said it, she was craving it. The baby gave a kick in her stomach and Lavender laughed. "See, baby agrees! You know-" She rubbed her hand over her belly and said, "The baby kicks hard enough now that you can see it, if you're looking at my stomach when she- or he- does it. How cool is that?"
