"A girl, aye? I like the sound of that," he said with fondness in his eye. It was an interesting thought; pondering having a daughter. He hadn't thought much on it in her absence and he had found it too painful to imagine. But now...now he could create dreams and hopes. If they had a son, it would be just as well. He was going to be a father. "I'd like to go with you," he agreed, smiling to her.
He smirked at the feel of her lips against her cheek and he felt his stomach flip, as it always did when she was around. His heart pounded and he remembered the feel of her against him, as he placed kisses to every bit of skin he could, always with love and care.
But he didn't dare move to kiss her like that again. As much as he'd like to, and as much as he believed there was no reason he shouldn't, he knew it would hurt Dean. Dean didn't see things the way he did. And he couldn't force him to. "I missed you so much," he whispered instead, leaning up to kiss her forehead.
