Ever since the start, Kingsley had wondered how widespread being free of the Death Eaters' influence was. He hadn't lasted long. His wand probably helped with that, given its core. And Fleur had been immune or whatever to what they were doing because of her heritage. All of them were careful, as soon as their minds were their own again. They knew to be smart. But what about simple civilians who had never taken part in the war before? His parents were still under the influence, but he had told them to share stuff with him, though he had to leave the nature of what vague. At least they had always been private people, not very comfortable with strangers.
"But we trust them," Kingsley replied in an ironic voice, mocking the influence it had. Really, it was incredible. His experience in the Order hadn't been known - or else he would have been thrown in Azkaban at the least. But even so, former aurors were allowed to serve as hit witches and wizards. And the aurors were not - generally speaking - on their side. Whether they saw eye to eye with Dumbledore or not, the only ones Kingsley thought of who liked it were Death Eaters now.
"More and more people have been freeing their minds," Kingsley replied with a small sigh, as he turned the stove to low, "which is good. But that means the fear grows. And they might start noticing - may already have done so." Even some Death Eaters didn't like it apparently, if they were to be trusted.
