While he toyed with the idea of showing up a few minutes late, just to annoy Draco, Blaise figured it would be better to be on time. This was the first slyhterin reunion in years and he hadn't seen Pansy or Draco in the same amount of time. So right on the dot he apparated to the Malfoy manor, showing up behind the two other guests.
He was almost surprised for a moment - but then, he should have realized they would be early, especially Theodore. Blaise smiled at both of them briefly.
Honestly, he hadn't thought about the awkwardness of the ensuing dinner until now. But Malfoy was something of a rival, always striding for the alpha position while Blaise was more or less disconnected from everyone else. He was his own entity for the longest time, only interacting with them since they had similar interests. It was inevitable that he wouldn't click well with the leader because of this; the others would more or less bow down if not just completely disregard it all.
And then there was Pansy. She was still beautiful and seemed just as elegant, the head girl, no doubt. They got along well enough but they were still exes - at least it had ended mututally without any problems. But time had passed since then.
And Theodore, well, they'd recently shagged and so who knew where that was going to go. No matter, Blaise was going to be polite and as pleasant as Blaise Zabini ever was.
"Good evening," he said to Pansy and Theodore as they waited for someone to answer the door.
