Was Pansy nervous? Yes. While Draco faced dinner with two estranged friends, Pansy faced dinner with two ex-boyfriends and a boy from her year whom she'd never quite felt close enough to to call a friend. Awkward was, no doubt, a word that would be used to describe the inner battle raging within Pansy's head. Good thing she'd always been spectacular at masking her emotions and showing what she wanted to be seen.
She arrived promptly with a few minutes to spare, dressed in a respectable dinner dress and new shoes. While Duke had seemed to like her in jeans, tshirt and boots, she doubted such attire would go over well in this environment. This was her other life, the other place where she fit in, could rule if necessary, but she was finding that she preferred the world in which she could just be her, moreso.
Even so, she was glad that Draco had requested this dinner. Despite herself, she missed him. And she even missed Blaise, too. It would be nice to at least see them again, perhaps find a way to be as close as they all had been as friends.
She arrived at Malfoy Manor and pulled on the knocker thrice to announce her presence. She wondered if anyone else was there, yet. Chewing on her bottom lip, she waited.
