Once his part was done, Terrence just got to sit back and watch. Not as fun as being a part of the fight, but he wasn't the one that needed it, not tonight. And he'd had a brilliant run, played his own little game with the wolf; he wouldn't begrudge Chastity any of the fun of ending its life.
He leaned against a tree, ignoring the blood on his cheek and his hands, except to be sure that he didn't swallow it in human form. His hyena form could digest anything, even bone, but swallowing raw animal blood as a human had never seemed like a good idea, even when drunk.
Her laugh was contagious, and he started to laugh as he watched the animal's dying throes, eyes dark. "Nice," he said, moving up to examine it when all the life was gone from the wolf's body. She hadn't just cut the thing down quick the way some people would have, but played with it, gotten all that she wanted from the fight. "Feeling better now?"
There was still more than enough energy in him to get another animal for her, if she wanted, but that kill had seemed very satisfying. Another might just dampen the thrill of the first, depending on her mood.
