"Thanks," Bomba said, though now she felt like he was saying that just to make her feel better. Really, who was she fooling? She had gotten all dolled up to look like a girl, and of course he laughed at her, it was fucking ridiculous. She didn't belong in six inch heels. Still, she pretended, and smiled at him. "Your ink still looks great by the way, you'll have to take me for a tattoo sometime." She grinned. "Think of it as saving your poor innocent jacket from all those psychotic groupies that have shrines of you out there." She waved off the apology. "Yeah, don't be stupid." She said, giving him a lopsided one arm hug. "We're fine. We're always fine." She gave him a grin that didn't quite meet her eyes. It wasn't Duke's fault she was an idiot, after all.
