It took Duke a minute or two to reply to Bomba. If that was even her, which was the bigger problem: he didn't recognize her. He saw the brown hair but a second glance told him that couldn't be her - until he saw the jacket and she was talking to him like she knew him. Yep, that was her in his jacket, but what the hell was she wearing?
"Er wh-" he furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. Wow, she looked like a girl. Obviously she always looked like one, but never like this. His eyes went up and down, not in the normal male fashion of looking over a female, but just in shock. "What the hell is that?" He finally found words that barely came out between his laughter.
"Bomba! You're really a girl," he continued. The teasing was not going to end anytime soon. "Trying to impress someone?" A large grin was on his face, but it faded momentarily when he glared at someone that was more than checking her out. Woah, that was new too. He'd never been overly protective of her because she could take care of herself...and she wasn't usually dressed like this.
"People can see up that, you know, if you even want to call it clothes." His lips twitched as he tried to fight back more laughter and smiles but he wasn't doing a very good job. "You're like a magnet to that jacket, I swear."
