It took her a moment to stop being distracted by the fact that Myron had complimented her shirt, but after a (long) moment, she realized Kirley had spoken to her, and she pulled her attention back. "Exciting?" She shrugged. "It's alright. I like the work, and it's a good job. Gets the blood pumping sometimes, which is brill." Not as exciting as being a rock star, she was sure, but still!
Thinking of rock stars made her think of Myron, and she glanced over to see if he was watching her. Nothing. Frowning, she screwed up her face for a moment until her hair turned orange, thinking maybe that would get his attention. Opening her eyes, she sighed slightly. Nope, nothing.
