Who: Aragorn, Arwen
What: Aragorn's up and about a bit! Talk of pending wedding plans.
When: Yesterday, before the Boromir log.
Where: Houses of Healing!
Aragorn: *is standing outside, in the gardens of the Houses of Healing*
Arwen: *hovering*
Aragorn: *smiles**is walking, slowly though**with a bit of her help*
Arwen: *has her arm in his, and is walking very slowly*
Aragorn: *pats her hand, and leans in his head, whispering* If this keeps up..I should be able to at least do some minimal work within a few days.
Arwen: *nods her head softly, though worries at his hand a bit, with her own* Are you certain? Perhaps another week yet...
Aragorn: *sighs, and stops, turning to face her, pressing his forehead against hers**waits a moment to catch his breath, before talking* The absolute worst patients are healers themselves, my love.
Arwen: I understand. I merely worry for you. *caresses at his arms, carefully and gently, like he'll break if she's any more rough*
Aragorn: *kisses her face gently* I am not going to break, like a dropped vase, meleth. *takes a few deep breaths, then continues* It is getting easier to breath again, at least. I owe your family...quite a debt.
Arwen: Do not say that too loudly, meleth, or I fear they will collect. *chuckles softly, and pulls him into a hug*
Aragorn: *chuckles* When I am feeling better, we will wed, then hold that feast. Soon >.>
Arwen: As you say. *chuckles* Until something else pulls us apart, and we end up waiting another 4 months..
Aragorn: *looks at her a little sternly* Hence the 'soon'. I do not wish to wait any longer than I have to to be able to...perform. Because we do not know what might come, and...I love you, and think we deserve that happiness.
Arwen: *nods her head a bit, though somehow still doesn't quite believe that this is ever happening* I love you, as well. I would like it if our Grandfather oversaw the vows.
Aragorn: Lord Celeborn? If that is your wish, it shall be done.
Arwen: They will be simple vows, as the real wedding happens between us. *smirks, just a bit*
Aragorn: *chuckles, leaning on her as his strength wanes* I've sent a letter to Boromir. We shall have the feast, and the vows, when I can stand without aide for longer than five minutes. *laughs* And our wedding. Just us. Can happen before, or after. I prefer before. *winks*
Arwen: *subtly squeezes him a bit more tightly, to help hold him upright, and turns, to start walking back* For our wedding, just us, I should think that you will need more strength than merely what is required to stand without aid for longer than a candlemark. *chuckles a bit*
Aragorn: *smirks* I am mostly thinking, that it would be good for our guests to finally be able to go home. *winks*
Arwen: I think it would be nice if the city was a bit less crowded, yes.
Aragorn: *chuckles* *caresses her hand* You'll miss your father.
Arwen: *frowns* I would rather not think of it.
Aragorn: I am sorry...
Arwen: *shakes her head* I have always thought that the things I was giving up were worth it, for the things I am gaining.
Aragorn: *stops, and cups her face*
Arwen: *smiles at him*
Arwen: I seem to think you do. *kisses him, then nuzzle at him* Perhaps I lost my mind when we met again in Lorien, I know not.
Aragorn: *eyes twinkle with mischief*
Arwen: *caresses her hand down his cheek* You were the most handsome thing I had ever laid eyes upon, that day, and you still are.
Arwen: Even when scruffy and smelly from the road. *twinkles her eyes*
Aragorn: *smirks a little* Even when my nose is broken?
Arwen: Yes, even when your nose is broken.
Aragorn: *smiles, walks with her into the private room he was in* Hopefully, soon, I can at least rest in my own chambers.
Arwen: Hopefully, soon, yes. *nods her head* *helps him into a bed*
Aragorn: *lays down with a groan*
Arwen: *looks at him worriedly* You should not have been up so long...
Aragorn: *shakes his head, and smiles at her* I am quite all right.
Arwen: *snorts* You are as pale as I am, and that is quite a feat. *tucks him in, fixes him some tea* At least Ada has not been hovering as much. He has been busy with a few others who are just as horrible at being patients as you are.
Aragorn: Oh? Is there anything I can do?
Arwen: Yes. You may lay in bed, write letters, and otherwise stay down and quiet. *chuckles*
Arwen: *hands him over a teacup* And drink this.
Aragorn: *drinks the tea, obediantly*
Arwen: *watches him, with a bit of a smile* There is the one elf, your Ranger, who was in again to get stitches fixed and some nasty infection cut out of her arm. Then another, wounds from an orc encounter in Ithilien.
Aragorn: Orcs in Ithilien??
Arwen: That is what the male elf that brought her in said, yes. There were poisons on the wounds.
Aragorn: *sighs* *tries to sit up*
Arwen: *gently pushes him back down*
Aragorn: >.< Please..talk to Faramir or Boromir. About this. Orcs in Ithilien.
Arwen: There were two of them, and they are dead. Try not to stress yourself overly much.
Aragorn: There might be more >.<
Arwen: Alright. I will speak to Faramir about your concerns, but only if you promise not to worry, and stay in bed. *eyes him*
Aragorn: ...I promise >.>
Arwen: *nods her head* I will go and do it right now.
Aragorn: Then come back, unless you've something you need to do.
Arwen: *nods her head* I have very little I need to do that cannot be done while watching over my King. *smiles at him, kisses his cheek, and departs*
Aragorn: *grins*
