Oliver would argue that he had been volunteered to buy the first round. He didn't really know what he'd done to ear the priviledge, but it was his nonetheless, and when he entered the pub, Katie was already waving him over. Smiling, Oliver waved back and walked over to the table she had commandeered to join her.
"Hey, Katie. I thought I was buying the first round," he teased with a jerk of the chin in the direction of the 'drink' she held. He would be damned if that thing contained alcohol - or really, anything that wasn't properly "healthy". "I'll wait for the others to get here so that everyone can take advantage of my deep pockets, if that's alright with you, boss?"
