"Fred?" She waited for him to answer. "I love your silly jokes." She grinned and then yawned again, her words dragging now. She was fighting the sleep that was threatening to take her, but she was losing.
"Will you stay here? Right here, tonight?" She didn't want him to move. Helena was rather comfortable. Before an answer came though, Helena has slipped back into her sleep. It wasn't nearly as deep as it had been before, no murky lagoons to work her way though. But she was asleep, and she didn't want him to move, lest he let her go and the bad dreams find their way in.
