"Oh. I.. I don't remember." She didn't want to make it sound false, didn't want him to realize that she was lying. To her though, it sounded so obvious. Even the smallest of noises was making her feel jumpy, the flickering light was too far away and not enough to make her really feel safe in the dark room. She was terrified the more she pictured Bellatrix in her mind. But hopefully, Fred wouldn't take notice of any of that, and if he did, hopefully he wouldn't question it. At least, not now.
Helena's eyes widened as Fred walked away from her, disappearing into the darkness. It swallowed him whole. She held her breath until he reappeared again and then let it out slowly and shakily.
The potion went down smooth, though it tasted horrid. She didn't make mention of that. Shifting on the bed, now that she was more able to, Helena rested herself against Fred and pulled his arm around her, holding onto his arm. "Don't leave me..?" Helena was tired enough, but not willing to go back to sleep, and it was making her lazy and contracting her words as she spoke. "Stay here?"
