From what Alicia could tell the point of this place was to deal with crap and just live… The thing was, she hadn't dealt with anything yet. Sure the baggage had been there and she'd looked at it blankly a few times and one really was bothering her. Every time she saw it she felt like it was stalking her with little eyes that would hide every time she looked at it. There was something going on inside of her that was freaking her out a little bit.
Sure, she was still going to argue with Pukey… if it could really be called arguing after all who told someone they were trying to be a care bear? But than again if she thought about it more than once since she got to this place had people asked her if she was high. Putting the question of why people thought she was on something all the time to the back of her mind the thought of the care bear was bothering her. It was a kids thing and well… Ever since Flint got to the bloody island she had this weird feeling it was hard to deal with it was like a big black bear was going to wrap its arms around her and hide her in the darkness… At least that was sort of how Alicia pictured fear at that moment.
So as she had heard the baggage would just open eventually she decided to take things into her own hands. Grabbing the one that was really bothering her she left the bungalow quickly. The last thing she wanted to do was open it and have Evan or Rita walk in. She wasn't sure what to make of Evan and Rita had NEVER been on her good list so it was just sort of awkward living with the two of them.
With the baggage in hand she walked down to the beach pleased that she didn't run into anyone. She thought about asking for Oliver, Ange or Katie to be with her when she opened it, but she also felt like this was something she had to do one her own. Alicia knew they'd be there for her if she asked, but this wasn't something she wanted to do with anyone else. She hated letting people see her cry and she had a seriously bad feeling that she was probably going to end up crying.
As she made it to the beach she headed to the far end where she could somewhat be left alone and hidden. She put the bag down as she kicked off her shoes before kneeling down in front of it. Putting it on its side her fingers started to tremble as she reached to open it. The first wave hit her as she pushed it further open. How could a piece of luggage hold so many terrible feelings?
Alicia let out a shocked cry as she clasped a hand over her mouth as the tears she had known were coming flooded out of her. Her body started to shake as the fear washed over her. She knew the fear and she knew it was now strange to think about as how could this be what she was so… She could barely think as the pain and fear washed over her.
She didn't even notice the footsteps coming towards her.
