Helena moaned and turned into George's chest as he lifted her up. Pain shot through her entire body and she bit her lip to keep from crying out. She was aware enough to at least do that. She wasn't too terribly aware though, but enough.
"Hi George. No Fred, not here." She wanted to keep her eyes closed, to go to sleep. If she was asleep, she wouldn't have to worry about the pain that was enveloping her entire body. It was trying to smother her. But, she pried her eyes open and tried to focus on George. He was still spinning, and it was hard to chose just one of him to concentrate on.
"That is not funny, knock knock." She could barely lift her voice above a whisper and her eyelids were drooping again.
