So, Hugo was no one. Because no matter what, Scorpius would always have him. Forever. And here Scorpius was claiming that he'd be alone if he admitted to being with other man. And a Weasley. Which made him just about the worst person for Scorpius to be with. Hugo didn't know which Draco found worse, though he suspected it was the ginger part.
"I'll always have Rose and Albus? Really? Rose isn't speaking to me and Albus is.." A blood dark wizard. Hugo bit his tongue, but only barely. "Albus and I are cousins, that doesn't make us best friends." He wanted to keep going and tell Scorpius that he never dated another bloke, that he'd wanted to marry Scorpius and be with him until they were old, but why should be explain himself again? All he'd been doing since getting to this bloody island was explaining himself to Scorpius and hoping that his boyfriend would see how good they were together. But what was the point?
Reaching up to run his hand through his hair, Hugo sighed. "You're right. You're not the Scorpius I love. Compared to him you're a spineless, selfish twat who pretends to be worried about family duty, but really you're just too scared to stand up to your father. And I don't want to be with someone who thinks I'm something to be ashamed of. I'll save you the trouble of being alone.. you can have your entire family because I'm done. This," he said and waved his hand between them, "is over."
