Scorpius felt a lot colder than he remembered being alone when Hugo got up and trundled off to the kitchen. He stayed on the couch, unable to get up and go after him.
"If you didn't, you wouldn't be angry," Scorpius reasoned, frowning as he watched the back of Hugo's head. "You'd be telling me it's all right and I don't have to tell them."
