Helena sat up a little straighter. "So I'm not pregnant?" Before now, it had seemed a very real concern, and something that terrified her. Now that it wasn't an option any longer, she found that she was, actually, a bit sad about that. Which also terrified her. She should not want to be pregnant to someone she wasn't married to. That was insane and she needed to stop thinking that way. This, if Angelina was telling truth, was a good thing. She was in no more trouble.
And still, she found she was upset about this. But she would deal with that on her own time.
"Which do you prefer?" She went back to talking about the things Angelina had brought to her. She didn't want to dwell on what could have been at the moment.
