"I wouldn't", she said darkly. As much as she hated the words coming out of her mouth, they were the truth. Trust meant a lot to her, more now than ever. Even if Adrian didn't trust her, Angelina found some sort of strange trust for him. Which meant spilling secrets was off the books, because people who trusted each other didn't do that. She couldn't imagine how she'd feel if he went around yapping the things she told him about her own mother. Awful was the only word that came to mind, and Angelina knew he would feel the same. Even if he pretended not to.
When Adrian took a step forwards, Angelina tensed even more than she had. "That you're not so fucking different than everyone else. That this," she said with a wave of her hand, "is just one whole fucking act to protect yourself." Ange was not a psychologist by any means, but she knew the basic concept of putting up fronts. It wasn't something she'd ever done, but she knew it happened.
Narrowing her own eyes, Angelina shook her head with a laugh. "Oliver Wood happens to be one of my best mates, so what I do? That is his business. Maybe if you opened yourself up enough to earn a few friends you'd realize that." With a sigh, Angelina tried to relax her muscles without much success. "What happened between you two?" she half demanded, half asked.
