Together together 'together'? Oliver rather hoped that was what she meant, and if he hadn't been inclined to believe it just because he wanted her to have been saying that, the rest of what she said would have convinced him of her intentions. Or what she intended for his intentions to be.
He'd been about to ask her on a date, really he had. But Tonks was so impassioned by her speech that he didn't really get much of a chance before getting doused with her glass of water. He gasped and looked down at himself at the shock of cold water he hadn't been expecting. A surprised sound escaped him, followed by a breath and a laugh.
"You know, if you wanted me to take my shirt off, all you had to do was ask," he joked before removing the wet shirt. Oliver used the dry part of the shirt to dry his now wet chest. "Do you want to go on a date with me on Friday? I don't have any flowers or anything, but I'll get you some Friday if you like."
