Teddy rolled his eyes at the other man, shaking the beach sand out of his hair as he ran a hand through it. When the other man was done talking, it was all Teddy could do to keep from shoving him and instead was glaring daggers at him instead.
“Teddy. Teddy Lupin. The guy who has one shot at having a real family and your fucking ruining it, not to mention the fact that you practically just stepped on my face!” Teddy shouted at the guy. Okay, so maybe he was over reacting about both things. But Sirius had been obstinately opposed to his parents being together since day one on the island going as far as to punch his father and directly forbid it. His name was also signed to the personal ad for his father that seemed to be pasted up in every crevice of the island, the same personal ad that caused his very upset mother to persue some bloke named Oliver. His parents weren’t supposed to see other people, and who cares if his dad come from a time where they aren’t married. They were still the same people right? Who is to say they wouldn’t fall in love all over again. He could have a real family then, couldn’t he? Not just a Gran (whom he loved dearly) and a guy who was barely an adult when he was an infant anyway. Yep, all Sirius’ fault. It was much easier than blaming his parents.
