Who: Angelina & Oliver What: Baggage! Where: Angelina's bungalow When: After work Rating/Status: Low/in progress
Angelina wasn't feeling so blissfully happy anymore. For the last little while, Ange had been avoiding her bottle of champagne and avoiding opening any more baggage. As much as she wanted her magic back, and maybe her own broom, she was terrified. Her last baggage had hurt, and she wasn't entirely ready to go through that again. It occurred to her earlier that she should ask someone to help her. Not entirely sure who would want to help her in this sort of situation anymore, Ange had left word for Oliver. She trusted him to see her at her worst and help her through that. George was with Pansy, Fred had his own problems to deal with, so did Helena, and Angelina didn't want to burden Alicia anymore than she needed to, at least until Alicia figured out her own drama.
Before Oliver was set to arrive, Angelina had opened her baggage. A flood of emotions overcame her, emotions that convinced herself she was a horrible person. For drinking, for lying about drinking, for wanting to drink, and for convincing herself she'd helped George get over his alcoholism. How was a liar and lush like herself expect to help someone else kick the bucket? Clearly not very well, or they'd still be happily married and not torn apart. Throwing her key at the wall, Angelina screamed. A streak of tears ran down her face, but they were tears of anger not sadness. Settling down on the edge of her bed, Angelina put her face in her hands and stared at the bottle of expensive champagne, hating herself.
Opening her baggage was a mistake. Things had been going to well for Angelina lately. She was finally getting past everything with George, and now she was thrust back into the middle of it. Curse this island. She was enjoying herself! She had been carefree and without worry. Apparently the good times didn't want to last for Angelina.
