If Angelina and Anton were to share pasts, they would be astonishingly alike. Anton had arrived here to find the love of his life abandoning him. Angelina had arrived here to find her husband had cheated on her, and wanted a second chance with the other woman. Angelina was finding it easier to move on now, after she'd come to accept the truth of the matter. It had taken her longer than she'd liked, but Alicia was really speeding things along. However, it was precisely this matter Angelina did not want to share pasts with Mystery Fellow. They all had baggage here, but that didn't mean they had to pour it on new people. The last thing Angelina wanted was to admit all the horrible things she'd been through lately.
His laughter got to Angelina, and she found herself giggling. She wasn't entirely sure what she was giggling at, but she was happy all the time. A good laugh was always welcomed by Angelina. When Angelina had written that letter this morning, it had been on a whim. Tonight she was glad for it, for her impulsion and boldness.
"Oh? I haven't written about it, but you probably did. The team I was playing for won," Angelina couldn't keep the pride out of her voice. She had always been a proud girl. "I suffered a couple bruises and a small bump on my head. Nothing unexpected. I knew most of the people playing, and we're not exactly... polite when it comes to competitive sports." Angelina grinned in a what-can-you-do sort of way. "Have you been in the water yet?" As the days passed, Ange found herself in the water more and more - it was fantastic, really.
