He wanted him to sit down next to him? Regulus couldn't help but be surprised. He didn't know why Lupin wanted to have anything to do with him. He rather would have suspected that he would have been labeled as the bad, Death Eater brother by Sirius, which, naturally, meant that he was to be avoided at all costs. Surely, this was beyond the boundaries of simple pleasantries that were exchanged even between the worst of enemies?
Although he was wary of prolonging the conversation, he didn't want to risk making himself out to be the bad brother. So, he quietly crossed the room and sat down next to Lupin, aware of just how close they were. He was fairly certain that this was the closest that they had ever been and they were alone at the moment. He felt almost as if he had been invited in by one of his professors and didn't know exactly what to expect.
"1979," Regulus answered when prompted. He didn't know if this would come as a surprise or not.
